Life Annuity 
   An annuity payout option that pays a monthly check for a certain time period and thereafter until the annuitant’s death. If the annuitant dies before the time period expires, the payments go to the annuitant’s named beneficiary.

Liquidity 
   The ease with which an asset can be converted to cash in the marketplace.

Long-Term Gain 
   The profit earned on the sale of a capital asset that has been owned for more than twelve months.
